Coming to Belmont for the do-it-yourself self-guided driving tour?
Here are some tips!
First, bring an umbrella! This time of year, we get plenty of early fall rain, and it’s likely you’ll run into some on your way into Belmont County. Be prepared, and watch out for flash floods if the rain picks up. Be safe!
Second, if it’s a sunshiny day, bring your sunscreen! This is a drive through activity with lots of potential outdoor participation, so make sure you’re prepared for a beautiful sunny day should that (hopefully) happen!
Finally, there should be porta-johns at almost every stop along the way but if not, we have plenty of shops, gas stations, and other amenities from Bellaire through to Barnesville and the highway. Once you get to I-70, you can trek back towards Morristown and visit the (nearly new) Pilot rest stop for everything from basics to Cinnabon! We’ve got it all here in Belmont County, so be prepared, come visit us, and enjoy!
